SVCTE - Auto Body Refinishing (Paint)

Company Overview

We are a Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) high school program offering 28 courses (21 of which are UC “a-g” approved) that prepare students for college and future careers.

The program is free for qualified 11th & 12th grade students who are curious about a specific career path. Classes are offered at an off-site campus with high tech classrooms and industry expert teachers.

Auto Body Refinishing (Paint) Class

Observe class for auto body refinishing.

There is a constant demand for skilled auto body technicians in the automotive industry. These technicians work in small shops and within larger shops and auto dealerships.

Typically auto body paint technicians are involved in some form of apprenticeships with an employer. Apprentices learn “on-the-job” while acquiring advanced skills and techniques. Successful auto paint technicians are dependable, reliable, careful, and skilled in renovating vehicles.

6 students will be allowed in class in the morning & 6 can attend in the afternoon class. 

AM students - leave high school by bus at 6:50am for 7:30 class and return to high school by 10am.

PM students - leave high school by bus at 11:50am for 12:30pm class and return to high school by 4:00pm.

Your school ID and emergency information (if necessary). Transportation to and from SVCTE is provided by yellow bus from the high school. It picks up by the corner of Church Street. The bus will leave promptly at 6:50. Bring your own snack.
